Basic 2024 Theory Revision Sessions

Liz Bolton and Chris Dale will be running 2 Theory Revision Evenings for the 2024 Basic Assessment Candidates.

Some members not taking the exam have expressed an interest in attending these interactive sessions and we can offer 4 places for interested individuals on a “first come, first served” basis.  This may be of interest to those wanting to brush up their knowledge, or members who keep bees at the Association Apiary conscious of the requirement to be “studying” for the Basic.  There will be no requirement to take the exam this year, although we would hope it might stimulate interest in future years.

The sessions will be held at the Good Shepherd, Mytholmroyd (our usual venue for evening meetings) on Monday 20 May and Monday 3 June 19:30-21:30.

We aim to provide 2 stimulating and interesting evenings, which will help to cement essential beekeeping knowledge in a supportive environment, including copious quantities of tea, coffee and biscuits (possibly even chocolate ones!)

If you are not a 2024 Basic Candidate but would like to come along please get in touch.  Numbers are strictly limited, so don’t delay.
