Bee Health Day – Foulbrood. With NBU

The National Bee Unit will bring live samples of AFB and EFB.  You will be provided with PPE to handle them, but will be advised to wash all your clothing on returning home.  Live bees will be kept well away from the meeting, so you will not need your beesuit.

The event is being held in Greenhead Collegeand there is a £15 administrative fee for members of other associations and a very loimited number of tickets still available.  All the places for Huddersfield and Halifax are now taken.

This is a rare and prestigious chance to meet members of the NBU, who attend few meetings away from their base in Sand Hutton.  You will be much more confident in distinguishing foulbrood from other less serious brood disorders after seeing the real thing.
