Identification can be by the information alone or in conjunction with any other information in the data controller\u2019s possession or likely to come into such possession. Who are we? <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"List-Paragraph P-4\"><span class=\"C-13\">The secretary of the Halifax and District Beekeeping Association (HBKA) is the Data Controller. This means the secretary on behalf of HBKA decides how your personal data is processed and for what purposes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"List-Paragraph P-3\"><span class=\"C-12\">3. What is the legal basis for processing your personal data? <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"List-Paragraph P-5\"><span class=\"C-13\">Explicit consent of the data subject so that we can keep you informed about news, events, and activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"List-Paragraph P-5\"><span class=\"C-13\">Processing is carried out by members of HBKA.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"List-Paragraph P-5\"><span class=\"C-13\">The processing relates only to members or former members.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"List-Paragraph P-5\"><span class=\"C-13\">There is no disclosure to a third party without consent. <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"List-Paragraph P-3\"><span class=\"C-12\">Sharing your personal data<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"List-Paragraph P-4\"><span class=\"C-13\">Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential and will only be shared with other organisations detailed in your consent form. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"List-Paragraph P-3\"><span class=\"C-12\">6. How long do we keep your personal data? <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"List-Paragraph P-4\"><span class=\"C-13\">Personal data processed for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer that is necessary for that purpose or purposes. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.<\/p>\n<p>For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.<\/p>\n<p>7.\u00a0What other personal data we might collect and why we collect it<\/p>\n<p>Comments: When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor\u2019s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.<br \/>\nAn anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.<\/p>\n<p>Media:\u00a0 If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.<\/p>\n<p>Cookies:\u00a0 If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.
