We get plenty of enquiries from people considering taking up bee keeping and strongly recommend going on our Beginners course which runs annually in March. This years course is now bookable online on a first come, first served basis.<\/p>\n

Beginners Course 2026<\/h3>\n

The course consists of 7 classroom style 2 hour sessions (7 \u2013 9pm) in Mytholmroyd plus some hands on apiary visits. Additionally you will be appointed a mentor for year one. To take the course you will need to be a member of HBKA.\u00a0\u00a0 The cost of the course, including membership of HBKA, is \u00a3160.<\/p>\n
