Nosema with Mark McLoughlin
11th March 2026 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Nosema is often called the “silent killer” because, unlike mites or foulbrood, it doesn’t always leave obvious clues. It’s a microsporidian (a type of fungus) that infects the gut of the bee, preventing them from absorbing nutrients. We will discuss when to worry and what action you can take.
Mark McLoughlin is the Regional Bee Inspector for North West England and has a specific interest in Nosema.
